About Angie

"Mini Me" - Ceramic art by Angie HardwickAngie studied Fine Art (Ceramics) at the University of Leeds, graduating in 2000 with a B A Hons degree.

Art and design has played an important part in Angie's life for many years, from school, right through to university.

Angie worked at Ash Hill Academy in Doncaster for 10 years her roles included Art Technician, Unqualified Teacher and Community Arts Co-ordinator.

Last year Angie achieved a Bronze and Silver Arts Awards Advisor Qualification.

Angie's work reflects what is happening around her at any given time.  Her most recent works focus on becoming a parent.

She focuses on how stress can effect relationships. Fears for the future is an underlying factor in her work and the element of worry, mixed with the feeling of excitement is prominent.
